I've just about had enough of winter now... So I decided to pull out a couple of cheerful sets for spring. Isn't it funny though - I have hardly seen anything made with Baby Bumblebee... and today I have seen a few people post cards made with it.
I decided to combine it with Petal Potpourri and can't help but smile when I look at the results!
Super cute!
This was the first with the cute baby bee tucked in among the flowers.
I coloured him with the Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities.
This one came in a flash of inspiration! I LOVE it!
These are coloured with the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities.
I'm going to shoot off now - I have a birthday card to make for my husbands business partner...

A Thing of Beauty
First I have a confession! I CASE'd the flower 'design' using the 3 layers from another Demo... I did warn her I would forget who... so she replied to me on Facebook and I kept the notification in my Inbox so I would remember...
... Yeah, Right! I must have deleted it! So if you are that demo - add a message so I can give you credit!
So on to the good stuff - here is the card...
Don't the Pink Pirouette and Crumb Cake make a nice combination?
I used 3 stamp sets with coordinating punches and the Pink Pirouette Blendabilities to make the flower. The new Petal Potpourri stamps and Flower Medallion punch, the Flower Shop stamps and Pansy Punch and the Petite Petals stamps and punch.
I added a Candy Dot to the middle. The sentiment is unfortunately retired and the feathers are from Four Feathers and cut out with the corresponding framelits then the floral element is accented with a little Seam Binding.
Hope you're having a good weekend! We had snow here briefly this morning... but it's gone now.

Sneaky Peeky!
I'm sorry I've been so rubbish - I have tried to have a few days off over Christmas but have had 2 classes, lots of lovely crafty visitors and have been playing with my new stash - so haven't had time to photograph, edit and post piccies...
So here are a couple of new things I want to share!
The first is a stamp I fell in love with as soon as I saw the new catalogue - I couldn't keep it off my wish list and it was the first stamp I mounted and used!
He's called Baby Bumblebee and was a perfect stamp for my Blendabilities - though you could colour him with straight forward markers.
Can you resist him? Nah - can't be done - he's too cute!
Now most of you know I can't resist punches and I had to have this little Bow Builder punch... I can't wait to decorate some little boxes and gifts... I have valentines day in my sights! Especially when you consider the Confetti Heart Border punch - but I'm saving that for another day!
I'm hoping to post some more over the next week - but I'll leave you with those treats for now! The catalogue goes live on the 6th of January - and Saleabration starts then too! Eeek.

No More - I can't take it!
...the excitement that is! New catalogue and Sale-A-Bration coming soon - but if you want anything for Christmas you need to order now. Last shipping date is 15th December - But I would give it a bit more if you can!
So as a demonstrator I get to see sneak peeks of the new seasonal catalogue and the Sale-a-Bration leaflet - and Oh My! I am so in trouble with my bank manager - but the products are simply amazing. I can't wait to share!
Yesterday I was at a Dabble Day - the opportunity to try 5 new crafts... I had 9 lovely ladies join me at my table and they had great fun. They were so engrossed!
I also showed some items I made recently and this one got a lot of attention...
It's a little votive for a battery operated tea light... doesn't look much? Check it out with the candle inside!
I heat embossed an image from the Hopeful Thoughts set on Vellum, cut the apertures with the Labels Framelits, used the Mosaic and Label Bracket punches.
The butterflies are stamped from Papillon Potpourri, punched using the Bitty Butterfly, coloured with Blendabilities and coated with Crystal Effects...
In fact I have been asked to run a workshop for a group of ladies to make this. I'm really looking forward to it!
If you would like to come to a class - or want me to hold a workshop in your home for you and some friends - please get in touch! Don't forget you can also host a party and you will get hostess credits from your party sales to get free products!

Sad Loss
I think there are very few people these days who have not been touched by Cancer.
Sadly this week I lost a courageous friend to Cancer. She was an amazing mother, business woman, wife and friend to many people locally and much, much too young to be struck down so very tragically.
I made the family a little card, to hopefully show how very much I have been thinking of them at this sad time. It isn't much, but hopefully will give them strength to know people are with them in spirit at such a horrible time.
It is my first screen card and it took a tragedy to motivate me to craft after a few days without my crafting mojo.
The sentiment and wording from Love and Sympathy with the single flower image were so appropriate.
Then the sprig of blossom from Hopeful Thoughts, with a hint of colour from the Blendabilities and the Papillon Potpourri butterfly coated in Crystal Effects - just set it off.
Please spare a moment in your prayers in the coming months for the family - their pain is so deep just now!

I used Papillon Potpourri, Sassy Salutations, the Ovals Collection Framelits, Lovely Lace embossing folder and Blendabilities for the butterflies.

Busy Busy
Hiya folks - I have just been so busy this week I've not spent a second in my craft room.
I had two classes this week that were well attended and had great fun with the lovely ladies. I have 4 classes booked in the next few weeks so looking forward to more fun and mayhem!
I've done everything I need to do for today and am off to craft... but thought I would share this mini book I made... I've never tried one before so I started small - and I have SO discovered Crystal Effects...
The flowers are the stamp Sweetbriar Rose coloured with Blendabilities and coated in Crystal Effects.
Oooh Shiny! I've made tags, stamped on them and stuck them inside...
These are from the hostess set - I Like You and punched using the Scallop Tag Topper punch.
Hopeful that I'll have some new things to share after this afternoon/evening. It's been a tough week and I need to chill. Craft Room here I come!

Flip Cards and a New Home!
I often forget about these thinlit dies - but have been using them a lot lately - including for some of my classes.
Some friends of ours were moving house and it was turning into a nightmare with delays and they thought it would never happen...
When it did I thought it deserved a cheer as well as a fun card!
I used the Holiday Home set...
Coloured with Blendabilities and with a few little flowers.
Fun isn't it?
You can buy everything you need to make this card through my Stampin' Up! shop.
