May Classes...

Well hello there! Long time no see! I've been crafting quite a bit the last few weeks... using some of the retiring products that I love before I get to swoon over and stroke all my new goodies from the new catalogue!

I've also booked quite a few trips in the caravan, next weekend is my first since June last year towing!

One of the questions I asked some of the other demonstrators was... "I love my patterned papers, I buy them because they're beautiful... but I just can't cut into them! What can I do with my stash to make room for new papers?

The response? "CUT IT!"

So I did... and the next few days I'll be sharing some simple ideas... the first is the one we'll be doing in our classes during May.

More ideas to come! xxx

Another Anniversary! Whoo Hoo 5 Years!

Hello - Happy Tuesday!

Today is my 5th anniversary as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - it has been great fun. I have grown creatively and met some amazing people, forging some lasting friendships!

To celebrate my 5 years... the first 5 people to order at least £50 worth of products from me will get around £5 worth of goodies sent to them as a gift from me or a voucher for 5% of the value of their order off their next purchase - whichever is higher!

The retiring list has been published and I'm sad to say many of the items are selling out fast! I can't believe 3 of my favourite, 'go to' stamp sets are retiring! Gorgeous Grunge, Papillon Potpourri and Petite Petals. So I have a couple more cards using Petite Petals to show you today!

The retiring list is available via the link on the right hand side... I'm definitely going to miss this set though.

Happy Anniversary!!!

Today I celebrate the first of 2 anniversaries this month. It is my 14th Wedding Anniversary!

I know... he would have got less for murder!

I made him a fab card before I had my op as I knew I might not be able to make one for a while after the op.

I hope you like it - he did - bless him, he says all my creations are amazing - even the ones I am convinced are rubbish!

I used the Heart punch, Petite Petals punch and stamps, the First Sight stamp set and the Flourishing Thinlits dies.

He's taking me out to dinner this evening. I'm just hoping the food is easy to cut as I'm still struggling a bit - just a tip - if you can 'dictate' an email on your smartphone... send it to yourself - then you can just copy and paste the text where you want it without doing lots of typing with your injured hand.

April Stampin' Up! Card Class - Birthday Blossoms

Hi Guys,

I hope you don't mind me delving into my archives for designs at the moment. I'm in a bit of pain with the hand still healing. I can't use my right hand much at all and certainly not for crafting or typing so thank you to my fabulous hubby for writing this!

I have an amazing friend who is prepping my classes for me and will be doing the practical stuff... so here are the cards for April!

This card... and the others all use Birthday Blossoms stamp set with the Pansy punch, this is my favourite!

I needed a little inspiration and I based the next card on one by Teri Pocock (I think!)

It's lovely isn't it?

I used the Petite Petals stamp set and punch too on this one.

The last card is this one.

It is based on a design by Sam Donald of Pootles fame... I'm proud to say we are both in the same team... she's just such an amazing business woman - I wish I had a 10th of her abilities!

So - back soon with some more from the archive!

Happy Stampin' Up! Mother's Day!

Hello my lovelies - I always seem to be apologising for not posting and today is no different! This time it's as a result of Carpal Release surgery on one of my wrists... so I'm one finger typing with my left hand... Not easy I can assure you!

Unfortunately I'm not a Mum - there are a lot of us out there you know... I'm waiting for Auntie Day to take off so I have a special day too!

But I still have my own Mum to celebrate and she's been looking after me this last 10 days since my op. Here are some of the cards I made this year for people... So everyone can celebrate their Mums!

March Card Class

Good evening! I hope you enjoyed some of the sunshine today... apparently the rain is in for the day tomorrow.

I've been knitting a jumper and got quite obsessed so I finished it in 20 days! I'm very proud - it's just a little on the large side - so I can grow into it!

I did manage to sneak in some card making at the weekend and finally designed the cards for my March classes.

The dates I have left available are the 22nd and the 27th of March at 7pm in Risborough.

The first card is this one - and you need to specify if you would like to make it in Blue or Pink.

I just love these! I used the Layering Squares framelit dies, the Sunshine Wishes thinlits, Gorgeous Grunge and Petite Petals stamp sets and the Petite Petals punch.

One has to have a little bling - and I think the Rhinestones really finish off the cards.

The second card we'll be making uses the Lift me Up Bundle - I love this and recommend snapping it up with the 10% discount whilst Sale-a-bration is on - then you qualify for a free item if you buy wood mount and only need to spend a little more if you buy the clear mount to get a freebie.

I chose the coordinating patterned papers myself... In fact I have 3 packs so I can make the most of this stamp set.

Lastly this month we're going to make a nice simple card using the Special Reason and Birthday Bright stamp sets, and the Layering Ovals framelits.

It's certainly going to be a packed class, so we're going to be working hard! I hope you'll join us! Just message me via email, text, phone me or send a message to the Knall Crafting FB page!

Suite Sixteen - Lift Me Up! - Stampin' Up!

The Lift Me Up suite is absolutely fabulous and has co-ordinating Designer Series Paper that you can choose free if you spend £45.00!

The great news is you can still shop with me on-line even though I no longer have a Stampin' Up! hosted website!

Where does the Suite sweet sixteen bit come in? It was my amazing nephews 16th birthday. I can't tell you how proud I am of him, he is such a lovely young man and has done exceptionally well in his mock exams and is an exceptional sportsman!

I made him this card with the bundle for his birthday.

I was so pleased with the result!

Have a fab weekend! xxx

Stampin' Up! Birthday Blast

Oooh - I'm here again! I'm making a bit of a habit of this!

Just a quicky... this is a card I made with the Birthday Blast stamp set... It just screamed out to be heat embossed in the Gold embossing powder!

It's so hard to get the fantastic effect captured on camera!

Oooh - that's better! Right the month is nearly over and I'll be ordering mid February so start making a list if you want to tag on!

Guy Greetings... 60th Birthday Stampin' Up!

So I'm breaking up the posts about new product with some things from the annual catalogue - there's so much good stuff there I don't want you forgetting in the excitement!

Guy Greetings is a FANTASTIC set and was needed to fill a bit of a gap in male sets. A good friend was 60 last week and I thought I'd share the card I made!

Isn't that lovely?

I was so pleased with that one!

February Stampin' Up! Class - Beautiful You

The first time I thumbed through the catalogue I skipped past this set... then I saw so many ideas on Pinterest I HAD to have it!

So in February we're using this set! Here are the cards we'll be making with Beautiful You.

I know! Isn't it stunning? But I can't take the credit - this was designed by a fellow Pinkie but I can't find the original post so I can credit her (EDITED)***http://www.michellescraftcorner.com***! The Night of Navy and white is fabulous... and the hat and dress use a technique called 'Paper Piecing'...

So the second one doesn't use the Paper Piecing - but we're going to be using the Emboss Resist technique with Masking and Brayering... so that's FOUR techniques so far in February's class!

I think it's pretty effective... can you see what I've done with the hat?

The last card and yet ANOTHER technique - this time one of the Reflection Techniques... and a little shading with the new Watercolour Pencils!

Ah and a Watercolour Wash with the Aquapainters. My goodness this class is a veritable feast of techniques to learn or practice. I hope you can come along!

The 2 available dates are the 6th or the 20th! Book now by texting/phoning or emailing.

So In Love - Stampin' Up!

Well I've been so busy with products from the new catalogue. They are just gorgeous and this stamp set sums it up! So In Love co-ordinates with the So Detailed Thinlit dies and if you buy the bundle you save 10% and so easy to make it up to £45 to get a FREE Saleabration gift too!

The first card is so simple I just love it - I stamped one of the images in a circle then used a stamp from Papillon Potpourri on Vellum, punched it out and voila!

This next card uses one of the thinlit dies...

I coloured it with my Aqua Painter... Isn't the die ... 'to die for'? And here it is a bit closer up!

I've got so many samples lined up I may be posting quite a bit for a while! Watch this space!

Tomorrow I'm showing you another new stamp set! And the cards we're making in February's class!
