April Class Projects...

Just a reminder, as things are selling out fast! That if you wanted anything from the retiring list, you need to visit the link on the right hand side to place an order. As for me, although I'm sad to see products retire, I only have until Thursday to wait until I can see the NEW catalogue...

I'm so excited I think I'm going to pop!

For now though here are the cards we made in my classes during April, I only have 3 spaces left for the class on the 11th May at The Swan Hotel, Thame (7pm) - so please book now!

The stamp set we used in April was Happy Hour (Retiring)

A  Waterfall Card

A simple card with a bit of sparkle

A quick, simple but effective card with a feature strip of Bermuda Bay scored with the Score Board

A Shaker Card... The Shaker Frames are retiring too!

And lastly, a Spinner Card

Say Goodbye!

Today we get ready to say Goodbye to the items that will be retiring when the new catalogue is released in June.

It's an exciting time as we look forward to lots of new products...

It's sad as we say goodbye to lots of favourites...

This is your last chance to buy some of those items - but hurry as stocks go fast! Due to the demand you may experience some slight delays processing your order - but please bear with us as Stampin' Up! are doing all they can to help during this extremely busy time.

You can see the retiring products and purchase by clicking on the image below...

Click on the image below to see and print if you wish, the pdf of the retiring products...

I am placing an order tomorrow if you can collect from me you will incur no carriage costs - But there are no guarantees the products will still be available at any point.

Happy Birthday Fella!

I have such lovely ladies that come to my classes and some fabulous customers that can't get to my classes because they are so far away. I had a lovely email from a customer who said she was inspired by my blog... I genuinely love to hear from people that follow my blog and it is rewarding to know I am having an impact, however small, on other crafters.

Class on Monday was brilliant, if anyone were to ask me what I love most about Stampin' Up! it would be a toss up between the people and the products. I also wanted to share something a little 'blokey' as I've been doing so many girly cards lately.

This card, using Guy Greetings, was made for the landlord of the pub where I hold my classes in Thame.

I didn't get to see him on Monday - so I hope he liked it!

I'm still rushed off my feet - but in a nice way... If I could have any orders to me before 7pm on Sunday please, that would be lovely.

I may get a chance to post again, but if not - Have a great weekend!

Year End... Flower Shop

Year end in the Finance world is a busy time, so I haven't posted for a few days. I've had lots of classes recently and will post some pictures of what we've made, or will be making...

Starting with the cards we're making in Thame on Monday!

This is a Spinner Card... as you tilt the card the flower spins and 'rolls' along the little window.

It's so clever I just LOVE these cards and will share some more with you... I promise!

All our cards on Monday use the Flower Shop set and the ladies will be able to choose one of four sentiments... I use Thank You as I get through a lot of thank you cards as I send them to my customers when they place an order.

For these cards I have used the 2013-15 In colours that will be retiring shortly - so if you LOVE these pastel shades as much as I do, order them, and re-inkers, now as they won't be available after May.

Lastly, and only if we have time, we'll also make this simple card, this uses the Gorgeous Grunge set too...

So that's all for today. I will be back soon!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Moon Lake - My Take...

I'm a poet... LOL

So Saleabration is over for another year. It is such an amazing event but there are lots more fabulous things to be expected this year. What I will say though is that if you are in love with the 2013-16 in colours - you need to think about stocking up before they retire as stocks are already being snapped up!

I have been trying to get a new mobile phone contract but it's so complex - can you believe I can get the SAME contract, on the SAME network cheaper through a 3rd party than from the network themselves. Unbelievable!

Back to the crafting though - I really love the Moon Lake set and having seen some simply stunning cards, decided to have a go myself... here are my efforts.

I used my blender pens to create a water coloured effect... What do you think? And the candy dot bases add a little touch of elegance.

As soon as I saw the bird I knew it had to be a blue tit... I added a rustic touch with the woodgrain embossing folder and the linen thread. Sponging the cardstock with crumb cake ink.

Finally was the little canada goose... I think I went a little too dark with the shading and I didn't get the water quite right, I had a go at some piercing and tore some kraft card stock for the mat.

I keep going back to the sentiments in the Blooming with Kindness set as they are so ornate and classical.

If you would like to come along to a class check out the tab above or you can shop direct with me using the button at the top of the right hand bar...
