Slide on over...

...and see the last of the 3 slider cards. I'm not sure of the colours here and might tweak them but I love the idea.

The Hardwood stamp is so versatile, here I used it for the planter. The Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch get a lot of outings and this was no exception.

Teamed up with a background made using the leaves from Kinda Eclectic and the label punched using the Decorative Label punch.

Like monday the pull is punched with the Ornate Tag Topper with Seam Binding and this time, Linen Thread added.

This week I am on a 4 day Health and Safety Course... so I hope I'll squeeze in some crafting.

Here's the tutorial to keep you busy!

Twit Twoo! Keep on sliding...

Following on from yesterday's arcing slider card... here is a more traditional card... though I haven't seen this technique/design in any of the groups I follow.

It was another 2am flash of inspiration and could be made to welcome a new baby as well as other occasions. I would love to hear and see what you do with it!

I really love this card and yet it was quite easy to make. I used the Owl Builder Punch, Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Hardwood and Crazy About You stamp sets. 1 3/4" Circle and Ornate Tag Topper punches.

The 'pull' is made with Seam Binding and Bakers Twine.

You can buy all the supplies here. Shop 24/7 with delivery to your door!

And here is the video as promised! Don't forget to come back tomorrow and see the new catalogue!!!!

...and there's more.

I promised you another card with the Butterfly Basics Bundle and here it is...

I cut one butterfly from Very Vanilla and another from Strawberry Slush.

I coloured the flowers with Strawberry Slush using my Blender Pens...

The Very Vanilla Seam Binding is lovely!

More Butterflies soon - I have a stunning box to show you!

Hope you are having a good weekend!

A Thing of Beauty

First I have a confession! I CASE'd the flower 'design' using the 3 layers from another Demo... I did warn her I would forget who... so she replied to me on Facebook and I kept the notification in my Inbox so I would remember...

... Yeah, Right! I must have deleted it! So if you are that demo - add a message so I can give you credit!

So on to the good stuff - here is the card...

Don't the Pink Pirouette and Crumb Cake make a nice combination?

I used 3 stamp sets with coordinating punches and the Pink Pirouette Blendabilities to make the flower. The new Petal Potpourri stamps and Flower Medallion punch, the Flower Shop stamps and Pansy Punch and the Petite Petals stamps and punch.

I added a Candy Dot to the middle. The sentiment is unfortunately retired and the feathers are from Four Feathers and cut out with the corresponding framelits then the floral element is accented with a little Seam Binding.

Hope you're having a good weekend! We had snow here briefly this morning... but it's gone now.

October Class

Hi Folks,

Hope you've had a good week. I had a rotten headache yesterday and fear I may be coming down with a cold!

I wanted to share the cards we are making in Mondays class... if you are interested in joining in - I have a space for the 12th November doing the same class... Just message me for more info by clicking to e-mail... just £10.95!!!

The four cards for the class are these... Using Flowering Flourishes, each attendee chose the colour scheme they wanted and I have made a sample in each colour so each person will end up with 4 cards all in their chosen colour in these designs.

The first to warm up with a little 'bling' and the sentiment from Sassy Salutations

Then we'll be making this one. Flowering Flourishes, Sassy Salutations and a little bling... I also added this lovely double ribbon made from Seam Binding.

The next card is possibly one of my favourites as I think Pink Pirouette and Smoky Slate are lovely together... I have also used my new I Love Lace background stamp... gorgeous isn't it!?!

And a close up of that pretty bow!

Lastly something using the new Four Feathers stamp set and matching framelits I got FREE at Convention!

I forgot to use my Embossing Buddy! So have a few white spots - lesson learned! Don't cut corners!

The feathers are lovely aren't they? Wish I had got them sooner!

Well that's me for today! If you want to place an order please use the link on the right at the top of the page and come back tomorrow where I'll be showing you projects from the November class!

It's nearly Christmas... eeek

Not really but in the crafting world most of us have started or are nearly finished our Christmas cards and are looking at wrapping and boxes.

I wanted to share a couple of things today... Firstly this gorgeous card using the Bright and Beautiful stamp set and co-ordinating framelits.

I've added a splash of colour with the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.

Here you can see the gold heat embossing on the star.

Here you can see how I folded the card.

The gold foil sheets are lovely and I stamped the 'background' stars with the gold Encore ink.

Do you think my photo's have improved? I invested in a new toy for my birthday. I would love to hear if you think it was worth the money!

I'm off in the caravan again this weekend so back on Sunday. Have a great weekend!

Wedded Bliss

Todays card is one I made for a good friend of our family. Maria and her family have been welcoming us as guests to their hotel on the small Greek Island of Agistri for over 20 years!

Hotel Andreas Agistri

It is a beautiful and welcoming family run hotel, just a short boat ride from Piraeus. The food is phenomenal and the island itself is a complete haven.

When we first started visiting, Maria, her sister and her brother were children. And last weekend Maria got married!

This is the card I made for her and her new husband Argiris.

I used Very Vanilla cardstock, a selection of heart punches and framelits, the Love and Laughter stamp set with clear embossing powder, Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder, Very Vanilla seam binding and some Pearls.

I think the clear embossing is stunning.

And I decided to decorate inside too.

I hope they liked it and wish them all the very best for the future!
