Project Life...

I'm not a scrapbooker... you may have noticed. I fancied it but had no clue where to start and am always daunted by the prospect of designing a whole 12x12 page!

Stampin' Up! obviously knew this and as I mentioned previously, they have teamed up with the amazing Becky Higgins, to bring us an exclusive selection of Project Life products.

I ordered everything I could on Pre-Order, and it's now available to you. Just check out my on-line store.

I have had the most amazing fun because I can break down my 12x12 page into sections using the Photo Pockets. So I don't have to make a huge page in one go.

I also bought the framelits, journalling pens, accessory pack, corner rounder and of course the Project Life card pack.

These are my creations. (never has my mobile phone camera had so much use!)

The card stock here was cut with the framelits and I rounded the corners with my punch.

I used my Label Bracket punch to make the labels.

The pre-printed cards are fabulous... and I may have rubbish handwriting but I don't mind as my notes are personal to me. I used the Scallop Border punch and the flower from the new Itty Bitty Accents set on the picture above.

How cool are these pages? Honestly I had a ball - it was so easy and I have totally changed my mind about scrapbooking - I can't wait to get the album... I am going to take some serious pictures on holiday next week.

I've not really exploited my Washi Tape - But I think this looks so effective. I may be officially converted!

More labels - this time using the Curly Label punch.

Again, as you can see here the pre-printed cards are fabulous and I even just cut backgrounds from my DSP. I'm sure you are bored with my pictures - But I simply can't express how much fun I had creating these!

Back soon with another new product!

Loving those 'Flip' Cards...

And they are incredibly simple with Stampin' Up! goodies, the Thinlits dies and your Big Shot...

Just a couple I made yesterday. I used the Thinlit Card Die sets, The Santa from The Best of Christmas, the Season of Style Designer Series Paper, Some of the lush Glimmer Paper and a little of the 1/8" Silver ribbon.

Oooh - just loving these!

And don't you just LOVE the co-ordinating Cracker made using the soon to be released Envelope Punch Board!

I used the Scallop Border Punch on the ends and the lovely Cherry Cobbler Stitched Edge Grosgrain ribbon.

Back soon!!!!

Easter Treats with Stampin' Up!

Today I am sharing some Easter Treat Pouches - these were made using some inspiration from the wonderful Michelle Last. It's a scheduled post... as is tomorrows as I am off to an Agility competition for the weekend! I wasn't going to go but as I didn't get the job I applied for, I thought freezing myself in a field for the weekend was a good idea. One day I will be sectioned!

Remember you can modify and adapt the dimensions, stamps and punches you use!

Here is a link to the tutorial video on her blog... Easter Treat Pouch

Here are two attempts I made. The first uses the Spring Sampler Stamp Set, the Scallop Border Punch, Large Oval Punch, Bird Builder Punch and the Scallop Oval Punch, with some of the Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon.

The second uses the Just Believe Stamp Set, Labels Collection Framelits, the Owl Builder and Small Heart Punches and some Crumb Cake Seam Binding.

Just seems such a shame to eat them - I think I'll give these to my parents! In fact my Dad adores plain chocolate coated Ginger and I just happen to have a stash so I may make one for him using the Ginger!

I do have a card to share with you tomorrow so I hope you'll be back!

Paper Players Challenge #132

My challenge entry today is a colour challenge from the Paper Players.

My card uses Summer Starfruit as a base with a white mat. I have punched the bottom of the mat with my Scallop Border Punch. I then added a layer of Print Poetry DSP in Midnight Muse, with the same Scallop Border, then added a wide strip of white, scalloped again and embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder.

I used my new Ovals Framelit dies to cut Primrose Petals then a sheet of white card patterned using the shaving foam technique and Summer Starfruit and Primrose Petals re-inkers. It's dead simple. Just squirt shaving foam on a plate, add a few drops of re-inker, swirl slightly with a spoon handle, press on the cardstock, remove, wipe clean and you are left with this fantastic swirly effect! I then stamped the image from Just Believe.

The sentiment is embossed in white and a few pearls have been added for a bit of 'Bling'.

I hope you like it! Don't forget you can buy everything you need to make these cards from me.

Come back tomorrow and see what else I have to share!
