Well - I'm back from the sweltering shores of Rhodes... to be greeted with fabulous weather at home!
It's supposed to reach 34C tomorrow! I may take advantage of my flexi time and sneak home at lunchtime!
If you are wanting to place an order and just pay £1 towards the carriage and collect from me - I'm ordering tomorrow! So you have until 10pm tonight!
Alternatively you can buy from my on-line shop... over there on the right hand side!
Tonight is also the last opportunity to book a class in July! I have a few dates still available, and as long as I can fill at least 2 spaces on any one day - I will run a class.
These are the projects for July.
Our first project is a 'Hallett' Bag in a Box - Thanks to fellow Pinkie, Caroline Hallett, for the idea.
With these lovely coordinating note cards.
Then we're making this little beauty!
And if there's time... one of these! So it will be a packed class and at just £10.95 or £5 with a £50 order - you have to admit it's amazing value! So give me a call (07786 860438), text or email if you would like to book!
See you soon! Enjoy the sunshine! xxx

Lovely as a Tree 3D special
I've tried to get a little ahead of myself and as yet I have the Flowering Flourishes classes on Monday and the 12th November... But towards the end of November and early December we're doing something a little bit different!
Here are what I am planning.
First off everyone will make one of these Tea Light Screens (Get your battery operated tea lights now if you are planning on coming!)
Whilst the screens are drying we'll make this simple card with a little sponging and some Candy Dots...
Next this card with a little texture from the Woodgrain embossing folder and some more Candy Dots
Then we are going to use the Envelope Punch Board to make this super cute box, decorated with Burlap Ribbon, Linen Thread, Washi Tape and leaves cut using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.
I LOVE the acorns and just had to add some sparkle with the Gold Glimmer Paper here.
Lastly we are making another box with the Envelope Punch Board, Decorating it with Lovely as a Tree, more elements from the Autumn Accents Bigz Die and more of that Linen Thread.
Tucked away inside are these cute cards...
It's going to be a packed class - so if there's anyone who would like to do it on a Saturday or Sunday daytime to avoid a potentially late night... just give me a shout!
Told you it was going to be a special class!
Hope you had an awesome weekend!

October Class
Hi Folks,
Hope you've had a good week. I had a rotten headache yesterday and fear I may be coming down with a cold!
I wanted to share the cards we are making in Mondays class... if you are interested in joining in - I have a space for the 12th November doing the same class... Just message me for more info by clicking to e-mail... just £10.95!!!
The four cards for the class are these... Using Flowering Flourishes, each attendee chose the colour scheme they wanted and I have made a sample in each colour so each person will end up with 4 cards all in their chosen colour in these designs.
The first to warm up with a little 'bling' and the sentiment from Sassy Salutations
Then we'll be making this one. Flowering Flourishes, Sassy Salutations and a little bling... I also added this lovely double ribbon made from Seam Binding.
The next card is possibly one of my favourites as I think Pink Pirouette and Smoky Slate are lovely together... I have also used my new I Love Lace background stamp... gorgeous isn't it!?!
And a close up of that pretty bow!
Lastly something using the new Four Feathers stamp set and matching framelits I got FREE at Convention!
I forgot to use my Embossing Buddy! So have a few white spots - lesson learned! Don't cut corners!
The feathers are lovely aren't they? Wish I had got them sooner!
Well that's me for today! If you want to place an order please use the link on the right at the top of the page and come back tomorrow where I'll be showing you projects from the November class!

Sad Occasions
Sorry I have been absent - my Mojo took a holiday.
What got me crafting again was some very sad news, that a lovely lady I know is fighting a losing battle with cancer. She is the same age as me, in her early 40's and was only recently diagnosed. Please spare a thought for her and her family.
Obviously I wanted to create something beautiful for her and put in as much love and care as possible. Sometimes a sad occasion calls for something beautiful to bring a moment of cheer.
Out came the Blendabilities and the Blended Bloom stamp. I also used a folded card I had not tried before.
I also used a stamp from Flowering Flourishes and you can just make out the glitter here on the edges of the folded petals. The little punched flowers are from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack.
The sentiment is from Hopeful Thoughts and really expressed what words alone couldn't. Here you can see the fold.
I've been away in the caravan this weekend with no internet - though the peace was shattered by the pub next door who had a barn dance and fireworks all last night! It will be nice to be in my own bed tonight!

Back to Basics... #6 Heat Embossing
Heat embossing is amazing - Truly it is!
It gives such a lovely finish to your cards - and adds another dimension.
So right now whilst I'm sitting here by the pool - why not take the plunge and give it a go.
Here is the finished card. The stamp sets are Perfect Pennants with the Banner Framelits and Flowering Flourishes.
And that gorgeous little bow? It's one of my fork bows made with a comb - see my You Tube channel for the how to video!

Papillon Potpourri Class
Well guys... this evening is my Papillon Potpourri card making class and I thought I would share the cards we are going to make tonight.
So we have plenty of time I have pre-cut and scored the card stock so we just have to stamp and stick... well a bit more but it should be great fun!
Hopefully we'll have time to make five cards and my criteria for a great class are:
Hopefully I manage all three, so here are the cards we are making this week... and we are going to do some masking and sponging...

Hopefully we'll have time to make five cards and my criteria for a great class are:
- Beautiful, effective projects
- Great company and a warm welcome
- Relaxed environment
- Tasty treats.

This final card was inspired by a fellow Pinkie and I must give credit to the lovely
Aida Dominguez Vd Veeken
Here is a close up of the butterfly
I don't know if you noticed there has been a definite 'trend' with my colour schemes this week! I LOVE these colours!
Have a lovely weekend and I'll be back with something completely different tomorrow!

Coram - Cards for Keeps
Stampin' Up! is an amazing company to be affiliated with - they do so much for charity including the Ronald Macdonald House charity and Coram.
You may not have heard of Coram - I certainly hadn't and just before the training at the weekend an Ebay auction for some cards, created by celebrities, was held by Stampin' Up! Each member of the regional design team and all demonstrators were invited to submit a card for the auction, the winner, selected by the CEO Shelly Gardner, was included in the auction...
They raised well over £8000 with the auction. You can read about the charity here.
Coram is the UK’s first children’s charity which today helps a million children and young people every year. It helps children and young people develop their skills and emotional health, find adoptive parents and uphold children’s rights.
This is the card I made, unfortunately it didn't make it into the auction - but the charity would love your donations I know - they make such a difference to young peoples lives!
I used Flowering Flourishes, Petite Petals and Papillon Potpourri.
I hope you like it! I am back tomorrow with something totally stunning!

Dynamic Duos Challenge #67
Goodness is it nearly Thursday already? I'm just in time to submit my entry for the Dynamic Duos Challenge this week! You can visit the blog HERE
This week the colour scheme is Calypso Coral with Crisp Cantaloupe.
My card is a really simple one that had me reaching for my Big Shot.
The apertures were cut in the card stock using the Ovals Framelits, the top mat was embossed using the Polka Dot embossing folder. The butterflies were punched using the Elegant Butterfly and the Bitty Butterfly punches, and also embossed using the Polka Dot folder.
The flourish behind was stamped using one of the Flowering Flourishes stamps.
I just love this colour combo and really enjoyed making this card!
Now you really need to come back tomorrow for the release of the NEW Seasonal Catalogue jam packed full of scrummy goodies! Don't forget now!
You can order from me wherever you are in the UK, Germany, France, Holland or Austria. So do get in touch if you have any questions - you can email me by clicking here
See you bright and early with that exciting new book of loveliness!
