Another Anniversary! Whoo Hoo 5 Years!

Hello - Happy Tuesday!

Today is my 5th anniversary as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - it has been great fun. I have grown creatively and met some amazing people, forging some lasting friendships!

To celebrate my 5 years... the first 5 people to order at least £50 worth of products from me will get around £5 worth of goodies sent to them as a gift from me or a voucher for 5% of the value of their order off their next purchase - whichever is higher!

The retiring list has been published and I'm sad to say many of the items are selling out fast! I can't believe 3 of my favourite, 'go to' stamp sets are retiring! Gorgeous Grunge, Papillon Potpourri and Petite Petals. So I have a couple more cards using Petite Petals to show you today!

The retiring list is available via the link on the right hand side... I'm definitely going to miss this set though.

March Card Class

Good evening! I hope you enjoyed some of the sunshine today... apparently the rain is in for the day tomorrow.

I've been knitting a jumper and got quite obsessed so I finished it in 20 days! I'm very proud - it's just a little on the large side - so I can grow into it!

I did manage to sneak in some card making at the weekend and finally designed the cards for my March classes.

The dates I have left available are the 22nd and the 27th of March at 7pm in Risborough.

The first card is this one - and you need to specify if you would like to make it in Blue or Pink.

I just love these! I used the Layering Squares framelit dies, the Sunshine Wishes thinlits, Gorgeous Grunge and Petite Petals stamp sets and the Petite Petals punch.

One has to have a little bling - and I think the Rhinestones really finish off the cards.

The second card we'll be making uses the Lift me Up Bundle - I love this and recommend snapping it up with the 10% discount whilst Sale-a-bration is on - then you qualify for a free item if you buy wood mount and only need to spend a little more if you buy the clear mount to get a freebie.

I chose the coordinating patterned papers myself... In fact I have 3 packs so I can make the most of this stamp set.

Lastly this month we're going to make a nice simple card using the Special Reason and Birthday Bright stamp sets, and the Layering Ovals framelits.

It's certainly going to be a packed class, so we're going to be working hard! I hope you'll join us! Just message me via email, text, phone me or send a message to the Knall Crafting FB page!

Autumn Arrives... Stampin' Up! Next Class

Well hello you lovely people!

Did you miss me? - I was sunning myself in Greece and it was fabulous - so much so I pretty much decided to have September off!

So that's where I've been and now I'm sharing the cards for the October class... the days are getting shorter already and we'll need to think about Christmas soon - apparently it's only 92 days away or some such... according to the Guru that is Facebook!

So now my holidays for the year are over I seriously need to plan for next year!I have to find someone willing to look after the mad dog... she has some serious issues and I'm struggling to deal with them! Hey ho - if you all order something I'll be able to get a behaviourist in!

Anyhow - here are the cards...

This one is mega simple... loving the punched plain balloons - now I have to apologise - I saw a similar card on the net... but never pinned it or saw who the artist was - so thank you if it was you!

I used the Balloon Bouquet punch, Duet Banner punch and coordinating Badges and Banners stamp set.

This is a blatant CASE of a card by the very talented Tracy May - a fellow Pinkie - I loved it! Spot a little bit of Gorgeous Grunge there!

I think I tweaked it... the stamp set by the way is Balloon Celebration and the embossing folder is called 'Confetti'.

This card is a great way to use up all those DSP scraps we can't bear to part with! Ha Ha (Admit it - you're just as much of a hoarder and paper stroker as me!)

If you want to book onto one of my classes in Princes Risborough - email me or give me a call on 07786 860438.

Off to tackle the HOOGE pile of holiday ironing now! xxx

Challenging times

Well I can't understand where the last week has gone! Am I the only one who takes time off work only to discover it's time to go back again and I've done nothing?

My crafty mojo went on holiday without as much as a By Your Leave! So rude.

Tomorrow is the last day to book a class for August, so don't miss out! If you haven't been before I don't bite (unless it's chocolate or cake), it would be lovely to see some new faces and the progress on the studio is tremendous so I would love to show you!

In search of my mojo I decided to try something I've not done for a long time and visit some challenge sites. Today is a card I created for the Less is More challenge of "Snippets". I wasn't entirely sure what they were looking for, so I just stuck to the general ethos of 'Less is More'.

Real Red and Bermuda Bay are a stunning combination and I combined Gorgeous Grunge with the Tin of Cards stamp set, punched the flower using the Itty Bitty Accent flower and die cut the butterfly with the Bold Butterfly framelits.

Notice anything unusual about the Butterfly (and the flower)? Well there's more to come soon!

I'll be back tomorrow with another challenge so pop back and see what I'll have for you then.

It's all about the boys...

Hope you had a good weekend, I'm doing month end processing for my day job... so I'm working 10 hour days then Stampin' Up! at home. But Stampin' Up! 'stuff' doesn't feel like work - I love it so much.

I needed a card suitable for a youngster, my nephews' 14th (Oh goodness when did he go and grow up?!) birthday.

It's always a tough one but Gorgeous Grunge to the rescue again!

It's just so versatile! I loved using all the browns and what a great use of the Hello You Thinlits.

I have a 'thing' about the Linen Thread too...

Now I have to place another order tonight as I earned some freebies from Stampin' Up! If you want the chance to earn free product and get a discount on your purchases then get in touch with me.

If you would like to 'tag on' to my order and are local enough to collect - You need to let me know by 9pm... you have 2 hours!

Back soon!

Can't contain myself!

You won't... or maybe you will... understand how excited I am!

I haven't posted as I have been so busy designing my new studio! Whilst we're on holiday a lovely chap will be building us a cabin that will be my craft studio! Can't wait to show you the pictures...

Here is the design using my husbands kitchen design software.

Here's another angle - I feel there will need to be a video tour too!

I have been doing a little crafting with my new product but with 2 classes a week it's been a bit difficult. I have been going to bed so late!

Here is one I made for a male friend. I almost forgot his birthday so it was made in a hurry before my new products arrived.

Thank goodness for Gorgeous Grunge - it is so versatile and the Linen Thread is one of my all time favourites.

I promise I'll post some new stuff soon! In the meantime if you want to book a class in July... I'll just say butterflies!!!!!!!!!!!!

Later!

Got the kit?

I mentioned I was going a little 'Off Piste', so here's the first post showing some new things I'm trying...

Firstly - Card kits - this brilliant kit - the Hip Hip Hooray card kit is on sale as part of the retiring list, and never having tried out one of the kits before I thought I would give it a whirl.

This first image shows the 20 standard cards you can make with the kit, there are 3 sentiments in the kit - but as you know... I like to say Thank You so have made them all with that sentiment.

The kit comes with everything you need except scissors! So you can buy one of these kits, pop it in your luggage and have something to do wherever you go, if it's raining, on the train... You name it!

There are a few extra elements too - and not one to waste anything I decided to see how many more cards I could make.

The answer was FOUR, the only things I added were the Gorgeous Grunge stamped images on Crumb Cake card stock, a couple of hearts punched using the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack and two arrows using the What's Up! punch (also retiring)

So - while you have the chance, why not grab yourself a bargain and try one of the kits?

Year End... Flower Shop

Year end in the Finance world is a busy time, so I haven't posted for a few days. I've had lots of classes recently and will post some pictures of what we've made, or will be making...

Starting with the cards we're making in Thame on Monday!

This is a Spinner Card... as you tilt the card the flower spins and 'rolls' along the little window.

It's so clever I just LOVE these cards and will share some more with you... I promise!

All our cards on Monday use the Flower Shop set and the ladies will be able to choose one of four sentiments... I use Thank You as I get through a lot of thank you cards as I send them to my customers when they place an order.

For these cards I have used the 2013-15 In colours that will be retiring shortly - so if you LOVE these pastel shades as much as I do, order them, and re-inkers, now as they won't be available after May.

Lastly, and only if we have time, we'll also make this simple card, this uses the Gorgeous Grunge set too...

So that's all for today. I will be back soon!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Are we nearly there yet?

Oh yes we are! I am so excited that the days are getting longer and it will be light in the evenings again!

Please excuse me if I ramble on a bit but I made a spaghetti bolognese this evening and there was a bottle of red wine in the cupboard... and, well, it would have been rude not to!

I wanted to share the cards we made in our March classes. The last class of the month is tomorrow. But I do have spaces available in April and have four spaces available for the class in The Swan Hotel, Thame on the 13th of April at 7pm... so book now to save your space!

These were the cards we made this month...

This one used Gorgeous Grunge and Flower Shop with the Pansy Punch

In addition we used Petite Petals with the co-ordinating punch on this one.

The background on this one is Something Lacy and the sentiment from Petite Pairs

The sponging on these flowers is so effective! And the leaves were made using the Bird Builder punch

I'm off to make some thank you cards now for this months orders... Have a great week!

Butterflies

I know - I am so rubbish! Can't believe it's been 4 days since I posted. I have loads of new goodies from the upcoming new Autumn/Winter Seasonal catalogue and haven't even opened them yet!

If you would like £150 of product for just £99 - You need to get in touch now as you only have from tomorrow until the 29th August to take advantage of this joining offer - And no further obligation though I can guarantee you'll love being part of my team and the wider Pink Ladies!

I have just been so unbelievably busy, rushing round like a loony. I was going to go away in my caravan for the weekend but decided I need to prep for Tuesdays class and get on with my Project Life album - I was up until midnight last night printing off over 200 photo's.

Sometimes although I have new stash - I like to fish out some old favourites and make something... it's warm and comforting like an old jumper.

Papillon Potpourri and Gorgeous Grunge had an outing the other day.

I started with this one and used the sentiment from Something to Say and the embossing folder is Decorative Dots. I was really pleased with the result and it's amazing how the neutrals - in this case Crumb Cake, give a card something.

Anyway - I was on a roll so decided to step it up a bit and made this one too...

I gave the sentiment more depth by mounting it on Dimensionals and added a flourish with the Linen Thread.

Isn't it amazing how much difference a tiny adjustment can make - all the products I used are shown below and are available from my on-line shop?

Well I'm off to start cutting out those photos and play with my Project Life goodies.

Back Soon! xxxx
