You know sometimes you see something that inspires you to pull out those old favourites?
Well a few weeks back I saw something on Pinterest I liked but didn't Pin. I recreated it as best as I could from memory. If you designed the original please let me know so I can credit you!
Just lovely and simple using the Bird Builder punch, Linen Thread and a heart punch.
A colleague at work took it for his wife for their anniversary... I'm glad it's going to a good home!
Back soon! xxx

Whilst I was coming up with designs for my class I created these cuties!
Holiday Home stamp set, Dazzling Diamonds, 1/8" Silver Ribbon, Word Window, Angled Tag Topper and Confetti Stars punches.
It's supposed to be cooling down now... I really hate Winter! But it's like June outside, just a shame the days are so short now!!

Hot Diggity Dog - but not forgotten.
The last two classes I held were brilliant - I have a fabulous group of ladies who are all now friends and we have such fun - you should join us!
I posted most of the cards we were making using Hot Diggity Dog, but this little one got forgotten! It didn't deserve to be as it's gorgeous!
How cute? A little fussy cutting round the little bone, hearts punched with the heart from the new Itty Bitty Punch pack and the frame made using the Windows Framelit Collection. The placement of the head was using the Stampamajig - which all the ladies in my classes now have!
I am holding classes on the 29th September and the 6th of October - still one space available each day!

September/October Classes
I have 2 class dates coming up, the 29th September and 6th October at 7 for 7:30pm in Princes Risborough.
I have a space on each one if you are interested! We would love to have you along - we are a small, intimate group and have a lovely evening together.
These are the cards we'll be making using the Holiday Home set of stamps and matching framelits.
The first is actually the last one I decided upon and is CASE'd from the catalogue - the Stampin' Up! catalogues are such a fabulous source of inspiration!
I made a few tweaks - but I think it's gorgeous!
The next also uses the Northern Flurry embossing folder. It's hard to see the Dazzling Diamonds here - maybe the next image will help!
There we are - a little sparkle!
The next card also uses the Northern Flurry folder. (And more Dazzling Diamonds!)
I had fun with the house stamping on different coloured card stocks, cutting and layering them for a 3D effect.
Lastly I seem to be getting a 'new wind' using the Flip Card - Circle Card Thinlit - I thought this was so cute!
I used a clever technique to get the glitter on the gold lights - I'll be making a video and posting it soon! Do you like the little shower of stars? They are thanks to the Confetti Stars Punch.
That's it from me for today... check out the supplies list below!
Hope to see you in class! xxx

Congratulations!
I can post this now I know the lovely family it was sent to, have received it.
The lady has been one of my customers since I first started Stampin' Up! and this was for baby number 2. I'm looking forward to snuggles!
It's another block card as I think these are great for new babies and little ones as they make beautiful keepsakes.
I used my retired dies for the lettering, cut from red glimmer paper and mounted on a strip of window sheet.
I love how sparkly it is!
Here you can see just how clear the stamped images are, they're from Something for Baby. The DSP is a perfect match for the tie!
I'm glad she liked it and that I could share it with you.
I have a few cards ready to post so hopefully I'll be posting a lot more over the next few days/weeks - so make sure you come back and see!

It's nearly Christmas... eeek
Not really but in the crafting world most of us have started or are nearly finished our Christmas cards and are looking at wrapping and boxes.
I wanted to share a couple of things today... Firstly this gorgeous card using the Bright and Beautiful stamp set and co-ordinating framelits.
I've added a splash of colour with the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding.
Here you can see the gold heat embossing on the star.
Here you can see how I folded the card.
The gold foil sheets are lovely and I stamped the 'background' stars with the gold Encore ink.
Do you think my photo's have improved? I invested in a new toy for my birthday. I would love to hear if you think it was worth the money!
I'm off in the caravan again this weekend so back on Sunday. Have a great weekend!

Sad Occasions
Sorry I have been absent - my Mojo took a holiday.
What got me crafting again was some very sad news, that a lovely lady I know is fighting a losing battle with cancer. She is the same age as me, in her early 40's and was only recently diagnosed. Please spare a thought for her and her family.
Obviously I wanted to create something beautiful for her and put in as much love and care as possible. Sometimes a sad occasion calls for something beautiful to bring a moment of cheer.
Out came the Blendabilities and the Blended Bloom stamp. I also used a folded card I had not tried before.
I also used a stamp from Flowering Flourishes and you can just make out the glitter here on the edges of the folded petals. The little punched flowers are from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack.
The sentiment is from Hopeful Thoughts and really expressed what words alone couldn't. Here you can see the fold.
I've been away in the caravan this weekend with no internet - though the peace was shattered by the pub next door who had a barn dance and fireworks all last night! It will be nice to be in my own bed tonight!
