NEW Spring/Summer Mini catalogue! Stampin' Up!
Well - it's that time of year! The new Spring/Summer Mini is available tomorrow. You won't believe the gorgeous products available!
UPDATE- Stampin' Up! have added the new catalogue to their website so you can now view it via the link on the right hand side of this page!
I have been stroking the catalogue for some time now - though I have been very strong and only bought a small selection of products.
The Pinkies had a product share arranged by the lovely Nicky at Dexterous Designs so I do have lots of bits and pieces to play with.
We will also be holding a Blog Hop on the 9th of Febuary, showcasing lots of the new products. Unfortunately we are forbidden under threat of torture (well not really - but I do like a bit of drama!) from showing you the catalogue until the day of release. So I will put a link up tomorrow as soon as I get home from work.
In the mean time here is a little teaser of some of the products you'll see!
Stampin' Up! have 7, yes SEVEN wonderful bundles in this catalogue, designed to co-ordinate and save you money. This card uses the Secret Garden Bundle on page 17. No more cutting out those fiddly but gorgeous flowers to embellish your projects, just whizz them through the Big Shot!
I really must get and do some more creating! Though at the moment I am just loving the challenges!
I will put a link to the catalogue on my sidebar when I get home from work tomorrow, but I won't have time to Blog as I am doing a party for 14 wonderful ladies!

Did you spot that gorgeous ribbon? Mmmm just wonderful to work with! Available in two colour ways, you'll find it on page 13 of the catalogue!

Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #71 - Stampin' Up!
Today I am entering the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. Oh I am getting quite hooked! Can you tell?
I love the Subtles colour collection from Stampin' Up! and decided to use a combination of the Rose Red and Pretty in Pink.
I don't have a tag die so I used one of the Apothecary Accent Framelits to make my tag, I punched a hole and added a flourish of Organza Ribbon. I stamped it with En Francais and felt the card needed something to set it off. So I stamped a Doily with a flower from the Mixed Bunch set.
I couldn't decide what shape to add so I stayed with the floral theme and stamped another flower and punched it out with the Blossom Punch.
The sentiment was from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments set, punched out with the Word Window and mounted on a piece of card punched using the Modern Label punch. I joined the 3 elements with a Rose Red Glimmer brad (now sadly retired).
Finally I added a few pearls. Just because I love them!
I hope you like it!
Here is the Sketch - what would you do with it? Are you enjoying my challenge entries? Why not leave me a comment. I love to hear what my blog followers think of the items I post!

Pals Paper Arts Challenge - PPA151
Oh my goodness - I seem to have caught the Sketch Challenge bug.
Not only am I really enjoying the challenges, my card making is being pushed outside my comfort zone. I am trying combinations I would never have tried before. Mainly because I am trying not to be too predictable with my design.
This card is my entry for the Pals Paper Arts challenge.
I started with a Very Vanilla base and added a broad strip of Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper that had been joined to a strip of Pool Party, embossed using one of the Delicate Designs embossing folders. Tied around the mat is a length of Island Indigo Bakers Twine, threaded with a Tiny Tags punched shape.
I used the smallest Labels Collection Framelit to cut a piece of Summer Starfruit card that I embellished with a Brushed Bronze Designer button, tied with a piece of Island Indigo ribbon from the Sale-a-bration Button and Brad set.
I am pleased with the finished article and getting more adventurous each day!
Why not click on the link on the left to the Pals Paper Arts blog and take part yourself!

Mojo Monday - Sale-a-bration
Yesterday we had the Pinkies quarterly training and one of the things I struggle with is inspiration. So one of the challenges we were set was to try something new.
I have never had the confidence to try any of the challenges I regularly see on the web. So I decided to step out of my comfort zone, rather than CASE designs from other people's Blogs, I thought I would enter a challenge and see how I did.
This design uses new Sale-a-bration products available from Stampin' Up! until 22nd March, each £45 you spend qualifies you for another FREE Sale-a-bration item.
For this card I have used -
- 2011-13 and 2012-14 In-Colours
- Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper - Sale-a-bration
- Sycamore Street Ribbon - Sale-a-bration
- Bloomin' Marvelous Stamp Set - Sale-a-bration
- Scallop Trim Border Punch
- 1 3/4 Scallop Punch
- 1 3/8 Circle Punch
- Bitty Banners Framelits Dies
Don't forget if you would like to buy any Stampin' Up! Products I can deliver anywhere in the UK for just £4.95! Click on my contact details to get in touch!
Meanwhile see if you can think of your own project to follow one of the sketches for this week!

Stunning portraits by talented artist!
I don't like to bore my craft loving readers with constant chat about my animals, I am aware I can get a little tiresome. However today I just have to share the stunning graphite portraits of the boys that hubby bought me for Christmas... Last Year! I kept stalling until I found the 'perfect' pictures for the artist.
If you are looking for someone to draw your animals, children, partner, parents... or anything else for that matter you just have to check out Steph Dix!

Here is the fabulous pic of my boys. I'm sure you'll agree it is stunning!
I'll be back soon with some more of my craft projects!

If you join Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator you will get 25% more free on your kit - so £162.50 worth of product for just £99! And don't forget if you join Stampin' Up! there is no obligation to sell the products or hold parties - there are lots of 'Hobby' demo's who join just to get the benefits for themselves. Saleabration Sneak Peek again!
Well folks, we've had a little snow this week and I am hoping we don't get too much more! Though I must admit it has been novel bringing clean dogs home from their walks!
I've been working on a few samples to give you a sneak preview of what sort of freebies you can expect to be able to claim with your orders when Sale-a-bration kicks off next week! If you haven't booked a party, don't despair you can still earn these freebie stamp sets, papers and other accessories with any order of £45.
What is even better is that you can earn unlimited items, so for £90 you get 2 free items, £135 you get 3 and so on!
The first card uses the Feeling Sentimental stamp set, this set includes a versatile sentiment and 3 images.
The second card uses the Patterned Occasions stamp set, each of the images includes a little sentiment but if you don't want to include the text you can either mask it or, like I have here, cut out the images. The little sentiment at the bottom is from Pretty Petites and has been punched out with another Sale-a-bration item, the Petite Curly Label punch.
The next card incorporates THREE Sale-a-bration items. A stamp from the Patterned Occasions set, Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper and the cutest little button from the Sycamore Street ribbon and brad set.
Finally I used the Bloomin Marvelous stamp set to create the really simple card below. As you can see, you don't have to be a creative genius to make some lovely cards with these fantastic freebies! So get working on your wishlist and get in touch to place your orders!
