Well we were supposed to have torrential downpours yesterday and they didn't materialise so hopefully the weather is improving!
Hubby disappeared off to an open mike session at The Swan in Thame and left me to my own devices so I made a couple more cards for a couple more challenges!
This one is a MEGA simple one and once again I got to use my Simply Pressed Clay, some of the retiring Designer Series Papers and a different sentiment from Bring on the Cake. Please note there isn't a hint of Mosaic anything!
The two purple buttons were coloured by adding re-inker and then I put Dazzling Diamonds in the moulds... the pink one at the bottom I embossed with Melon Mambo embossing powder.
It is an entry in the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge and you can visit the blog and look at the other entries Here
Here is my card - I forgot to say I coloured in the letters with my Stampin' Write Markers!
Hope you like it - It's a bright, fresh and fun card... ideal for a youngster!
Back tomorrow!

Double Challenge Entry
I have so many lovely cards to share with you this week, that apart from my CAS Design Team entry for Thursday, this may be my only challenge card this week.
I have combined challenges from Freshly Made Sketches and Pals Paper Arts...
I used the Marina Mist as the base card, used the Stippled Blossoms Stamp Set for the flower and leaves, fussy cutting the flower and mounting it with a dimensional. The stamp set is a 2 part set, so you stamp the base colour first and use the Stamp-a-majig to overlay the darker colour. As there was only one green in the colour challenge I stamped the base once on scrap - so I had a fainter image to over stamp... then I used the Certainly Celery ribbon. The sentiment was a Sale-a-Bration set. Although it is no longer available, it isn't officially retired until next year.
I hope you like today's card and will join me tomorrow for something really simple that I created with my favourite products...

Pampering
Ahh, yes! After a rubbish few weeks I am off to the beauticians this afternoon - not a lot they can do about either my face or my physique - and surgery is out of the question, but it will be nice to be pampered for a bit, and probably the last time I'll be able to afford it until Chris gets himself sorted with a job. He's having to give up kitchen fitting because of his back problem. Please keep your fingers crossed!
Today's card is yet another colour challenge - this time from the PALS team - click on the challenge image at the bottom to visit the blog.
This is another example of colouring with the blender pens. I've never tried it on coloured card stock, and if I say so myself, it works surprisingly well on the Crumb Cake.
This card goes to show, you don't need lots of punches or dies as you can fussy cut the flowers - so if you are new to stamping you can still make stunning cards even if you have resisted the urge to buy loads of equipment.
The two stamp sets I used are Secret Garden and Perfectly Penned. I hope you like it!
Until tomorrow TTFN!

Pals Paper Arts Challenge - PPA151
Oh my goodness - I seem to have caught the Sketch Challenge bug.
Not only am I really enjoying the challenges, my card making is being pushed outside my comfort zone. I am trying combinations I would never have tried before. Mainly because I am trying not to be too predictable with my design.
This card is my entry for the Pals Paper Arts challenge.
I started with a Very Vanilla base and added a broad strip of Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper that had been joined to a strip of Pool Party, embossed using one of the Delicate Designs embossing folders. Tied around the mat is a length of Island Indigo Bakers Twine, threaded with a Tiny Tags punched shape.
I used the smallest Labels Collection Framelit to cut a piece of Summer Starfruit card that I embellished with a Brushed Bronze Designer button, tied with a piece of Island Indigo ribbon from the Sale-a-bration Button and Brad set.
I am pleased with the finished article and getting more adventurous each day!
