Heat Embossing - another application!

Following the video I posted showing how to heat emboss I thought I would share this card!

I used Versamark to stamp images from the Flower Shop set on to the vanilla card stock - then embossed with clear powder. It gives such a classy, subtle finish - don't you think?

Here is a close up... stunning isn't it?

The little flower was cut using my Floral Fusion Sizzlit die. I really don't use it often enough!

Spiral Flower Spring Wreath

Well I've had my Spiral Flower die for a couple of weeks now and since I saw it in the catalogue I knew what I was going to do with it! Today the weather was gorgeous and really spring like just like this wreath I made yesterday.

This is how I set out the flowers ready to glue on. I'm tempted to do something like this on a mirror...

Here is the finished product.

I think the So Saffron and Calypso Coral look lovely together.

This is much smaller than the wreath in the SU Burlap & Blooms wreath kit... but the Burlap Ribbon is the same and this little project has got me super fired up for the classes over the next couple of weeks!

I also used the Floral Fusions and the Little Leaves Sizzlit Dies. Everything got a hefty dose of sponging to the edges.

I'm off to prep for the craft day now I'm excited but nervous! Hope it all goes well and that you all have a lovely weekend!

Promises Kept...

Well I'm typing this on Saturday as I will be out on Sunday - Taking my amazing Grandmother out for a meal for her 90th birthday! Bless her. I hope she's still with us for a few years!

Here is the other Stepper card I promised... hopefully yesterdays news has sunk in! This card is made with one of the retiring colours. Bravo Burgundy.

The stamp sets are Curly Cute and Flowering Flourishes and those cute little flowers are made with the Floral Fusion Sizzlits.

I decided to keep it simple and just heat emboss the Flowering Flourishes with clear embossing powder... I just love the way they turned out!

Hopefully you are enjoying the weekend and thinking about all the purchases you need to make! Remember - wherever you are I can take your order and Stampin' Up! will deliver direct for just £4.95.

Why not get in touch and book a party... we'll make one of these fabulous cards!

Exciting announcement!

The card I am showing you today was going to be entered in two challenges, Freshly Made and CAS, however I have been invited to join the CAS Design Team so you will find a card a week from me on the Challenge Page to help inspire you all to enter.

I am so excited and honoured and hope I can do the team justice. It is quite a new challenge blog so please pop over and join in and enjoy the challenges we set. It is great fun and has certainly got me thinking outside my comfort zone! CAS Colours and Sketches Blog

So, back to todays card, I used the CAS colour challenge colour scheme of Tangerine Tango, Sahara Sand and Summer Starfruit and the Freshly Made Sketch

I lightly embossed the Very Vanilla with the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder and stamped the leaves from Day of Gratitide on the Sahara Sand card that I had cut with the Apothecary Accents Framelit, stamping the same ink colour gives you a subtle image on the cardstock.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and is cut out using my Bitty Banners framelits. The colours I have used just as an accent , the larger flower is the 3 elements of the Floral Fusion Sizzlits, the smallest element, repeated at the bottom of the card is a flower from my Itty Bitty Shapes punch set.

I hope you like the card and will pop back tomorrow for my next challenge entry!
