Tea Light Screens

I am so excited - can't believe that this time next week I will have spent the day exploring Brussels before heading to the convention centre to register for Stampin' Up! European Convention 2014.

Eeek! I can't contain myself and I have made 2 different swaps and a pillow gift for my roomie!

Today I wanted to share some screens I made for Electronic Tea Lights. NOT for use with naked flames... before someone sues me for burning their house down!

I used Vellum and the Lovely as a Tree and Holiday Home stamp sets.

I did get a little carried away!

Here's a little tutorial!

Here's some I did last year too!

  8. WOW - So many lovely comments - Thank you! I used a sheet of A4 Paper which is about 210mm x 296mm or 11.75 x 8.3" - which is the standard paper size in the UK. I then cut into 3 each 210mm long so I got 3 screens out of one sheet. xxx

  12. I am trying to make some of these gorgeous tealights but am having some problems. My stamp isn't coming out very clearly unless I press ridiculously hard (its a larger scene stamp) and when the ink finally dries it can be quite faint. What type of ink pads do you use? Also how do you clean your stamp ready for the white pad? Thank you.

    1. Hi Lisa, I use Memento for the black and Stampin' Up! White craft ink. I just clean the stamps on my stamp cleaner with the Stampin' Up! mist... You could use Stazon inks - which should dry quicker... but you would need proper Stazon cleaner. The Stampin' Up! rubber stamps are brilliant quality - but you should be able to get a similar effect. xxx
