Stampin' Up! Decorating your life.

You'll probably remember last year there was great excitement about the ornament decoration on the front of the seasonal catalogue using the Ornament Keepsakes. Well this year I have not only made one similar to that but I have also gone to town with the new Festive Flurry set as I alluded to last week.

So firstly this years take on last years decoration... with another sneak peek. Just look at the lovely silver ribbon.. I know it's lush! And so sparkly... and you need sparkle at Christmas!

I think even if they retire these framelits and stamps next year it will be a set I'll cherish as they really are versatile.

In the centre is another of the Festive Flurry designs, cut out of Silver Glimmer Paper with the framelits. The centre is finished off with one of the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons and tied up with some Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine.

Then we have the decoration inspired by my card on an earlier post. This really does use the Festive Flurry bundle beautifully! Firstly I cut the largest snowflake twice out of Silver Glimmer Paper, then I stamped the large image on Whisper White, before cutting it out with the framelit and scoring and folding it - cutting out the middle so I could concertina the snowflake. I cut out one of the middle sized snowflakes - again from glimmer paper, then stamped the smallest one on whisper white, cutting out just the middle.

The whole thing was stuck together using my hot glue gun.

Then a Frosted Finishes embellishment was stuck on each side. The photo's really don't do this little embellishment any justice and I am so in love with them I am ordering three packs for my stash!

Don't forget to pop back tomorrow to see the first of the three new tutorials I recorded! It may be a little late in the evening as I have visitors coming after work and I'll need to wait until they leave before I post.

It would be rude not to! Strangely enough not everyone gets the crafting bug - though I can't understand why not!
