Good evening! I'm home! It's been a busy but fantastic Christmas - seeing friends and eating waaaay too much! I think I may need some new clothes!
I hope you all had a great time, enjoyed the company of your family and friends and are feeling positive about the New Year! Another one... where do they go?
I was caught out a bit and almost forgot to design projects for the January class - I grabbed some quick snaps in the studio of 2 of the cards and we're going to try a new inking technique!
Here is the first...
I'm not sure what it is about the rustic look of this card that I love - but I am truly smitten! What do you think?
The simplicity of the next card is in complete contrast...
I'm not really doing the 'Valentines' thing in January this year as I think these will be so versatile and great for those moments when you need a card and just can't find the perfect one!
I'm off now - there's a turkey curry simmering on the hob with my name on!
Please get in touch if you're interested in classes! I only have 2 spaces available on the 9th and 3 spaces on the 16th... otherwise you'll be waiting for February!

It's beginning to feel a lot like a Stampin' Up! Christmas!
Ho! Ho! Ho!
How are your seasonal preparations going? My cards have all been posted, my decorations are up, the turkey is in the freezer and my calendar is full!
I'm really excited to be spending lots of time with friends this Christmas and finish my 'day job' on Friday until the New Year! Whoo Hoo!!
I've been thinking about the boxes of retired product that often get neglected and this year have been pulling out bits and pieces, Designer Series Paper is something I can never resist and I took reams of it, cut into strips in to work and we spent our lunch break making the most beautiful paper chains!
I also designed this calendar to make in our December class... using a bit of old and a bit of new!
Fab isn't it?
Another use for retired DSP is different Christmas decorations - like these in my studio!
And while I was getting carried away in my paper box... I decided to make this for a special friend who LOVES orange. Just a slightly different version of the calendar.
Well you only have a couple of weeks left to order from the Autumn/Winter seasonal before the Spring/Summer one comes in the New Year! So please get in touch if you need any help or advice or if there's anything you need from me.
Just in case I get completely absorbed for the next couple of weeks... Have a fabulous Christmas!
Lots of Love

Stampin' Up! Christmas Cards
Well it's been a busy few weeks, I've had a few classes and am really enjoying my stamping again. I've even had time to make all my own Christmas cards this year!
I hope you don't mind me sharing?
This one is really simple and uses the Softly Falling embossing folder, stamped images from Seasonal Bells and the snowflakes are from one of the Christmas Stocking Thinlit Dies. The sentiment is a retired one. Sometimes I like to dig around in my old stuff and use things.
You can see I used Dazzling Details on the snowflakes... you can get the same effect using Glitter Card.
This one also uses Seasonal Bells and the matching punch, it also uses Lovely as a Tree which is the oldest stamp set in the catalogue... because it is so timeless!
Going through my files I found a short video I took of the sunset in North Wales one day in August, I thought it was so beautiful I did a Screen Shot to share with you! Hope it brightens your day!
Back soon!

Celebrating a Milestone, 18th Birthday - Stampin' Up!
Hello everyone!
You'll have noticed I don't blog as often lately, and I have been so busy I have decided to take a step back from Stampin' Up! to focus more on my family and the dogs - especially the latest addition who needs lots of work. I'll still be a demo in the short term - you can still buy from me, but I will be closing the on-line shop in November and you will need to email me to order.
I am scaling back my classes too, apparently I am being to accommodating and it does mean I end up running lots of classes which does take up lots of time.
I love my classes and have lovely customers and hope everyone will continue to support me which will determine in time whether I continue in the long term.
On that note I made a little something special this week for my niece's 18th Birthday. I will do a video tutorial if anyone asks...
Isn't it fun! And it folds flat for mailing! She is an accomplished young musician and plays with the National Youth Orchestra (or something like that!)
Even the envelope is something special and I used the 'This Christmas' speciality designer series paper.
Please continue to drop by as I will post from time to time but just not weekly as I think my family deserve a bit of attention rather than me disappearing to the office or studio every night.
Novembers' classes will be the 2nd and 7th of November with limited places so please book soon so you don't miss out!
Thank you for your continued support! xxx

Autumn Arrives... Stampin' Up! Next Class
Well hello you lovely people!
Did you miss me? - I was sunning myself in Greece and it was fabulous - so much so I pretty much decided to have September off!
So that's where I've been and now I'm sharing the cards for the October class... the days are getting shorter already and we'll need to think about Christmas soon - apparently it's only 92 days away or some such... according to the Guru that is Facebook!
So now my holidays for the year are over I seriously need to plan for next year!I have to find someone willing to look after the mad dog... she has some serious issues and I'm struggling to deal with them! Hey ho - if you all order something I'll be able to get a behaviourist in!
Anyhow - here are the cards...
This one is mega simple... loving the punched plain balloons - now I have to apologise - I saw a similar card on the net... but never pinned it or saw who the artist was - so thank you if it was you!
I used the Balloon Bouquet punch, Duet Banner punch and coordinating Badges and Banners stamp set.
This is a blatant CASE of a card by the very talented Tracy May - a fellow Pinkie - I loved it! Spot a little bit of Gorgeous Grunge there!
I think I tweaked it... the stamp set by the way is Balloon Celebration and the embossing folder is called 'Confetti'.
This card is a great way to use up all those DSP scraps we can't bear to part with! Ha Ha (Admit it - you're just as much of a hoarder and paper stroker as me!)
If you want to book onto one of my classes in Princes Risborough - email me or give me a call on 07786 860438.
Off to tackle the HOOGE pile of holiday ironing now! xxx

Where's the fire? Cookie Cutter... Fireman!
Well folks - still super busy and collect my new car tomorrow! Had a wedding and a festival at the weekend and had to make a card for my friend for his birthday. So, he was a firefighter - now he is an instructor for the fire service... I needed to make a fireman!
Here he is!
What do you think?
I have to go and feed the animals now - but I'll hopefully get a chance to post the new catalogue for you tomorrow!

Stampin' Up! Sneak Peek
A Cookie Cutter Christmas... that doesn't have to be!
It's a new stamp set with coordinating punch that you'll be able to order in September - and it HAD to be in my pre-order!
Here's a nice traditional Christmas card to start off with...
Cute little Gingerbread couple in Cajun Craze... exactly the right colour for Gingerbread!
Then the next card I had amazing fun creating and should definitely be a feature in October's class - don't you think?
Great use of the Brick Wall and Softly Falling embossing folders.
And no Christmas stamp set would be complete unless you could make... A BABY Card????
And another embossing folder here, Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder - this is a super special extra depth one... so make sure you follow the instructions for the sandwich!
I'm feeling so much better today... I've had a dreadful week with an ear infection and Labyrinthitis - culminating in a perforated eardrum! It never rains! At least I can sit up and type today!
Hope you're having a fab weekend!

Stampin' Up! Pop of Paradise
I'm sure Stampin' Up! Included the flamingo in this set as a reference to the Rio Olympics... which is why I thought I would post a couple of cards using this set today!
I'm not very sporty I'm afraid - the daily dog walk is my exercise limit! Even that's curtailed at the moment as I think I may have an ear infection... to the amusement of those around me, as my balance has gone and I'm walking into things left, right and centre!
Well at least this little fella made me smile! I'm not sure what it is... maybe it's the cheerful pink? I do know there are flamingos EVERYWHERE this year!
This was the first card I made with the set... I just love the leaves too! Though I drew the line at cutting those out and just cut out the sentiment!
The second card was for an amazing friend who does so much for me! She is into country music and has just bought a pair of flamingos for her garden! Plastic ones... called Phil and Fiona!
These were heat embossed using the retired Melon Mambo embossing powder - aren't they great on the black card?
Well it's time to flamin'go!! (OK so I'm no comedian!) Back soon...
My seasonal pre-order will be here soon - you can get your hands on product early too if you join my team... I would love to have you on board. You choose £130 of product and pay just £99 with at least 20% off subsequent orders and no obligation to buy a thing and your starter kit is yours to keep!

Falling Flowers class - Stampin' Up!
Hiya! I'm back...
I've had a bit of a holiday - mainly because I have been doing so much crafting, working and I've had a holiday!
Here was the view from the caravan when I did a bit of sneaky crafting... at the bottom of a Welsh mountain.
Not bad eh? I took 2 of the amazing kits from the new catalogue!
August classes are focusing on the Falling Flowers set and we'll be doing some sponging and some heat embossing. I'm going to show the Emboss Resist technique and how awesome clear embossing ins on coloured card stock.
I'm loving the new In-Colours! The sentiment is a stand alone stamp called Stylized Birthday.
Look at the effect of the emboss resist technique - gorjuss!!!!!
You can see how lovely the clear embossing powder looks on coloured card.
Lastly we're just going to go wild with some random stamping on this fab panelled card.
Well - I'm back to the day job on Monday - can't believe 2 weeks have passed already! The new job, as expected with a promotion, is taking up lots of time! But I'm still selling products via my on-line shop and running classes... I would love you to come along!

Stampin' Up! - Floral Fun!
Good afternoon!
I don't 'do' sport really but well done to Andy Murray for winning the men's singles at Wimbledon, well done to Lewis Hamilton winning the British Grand Prix... and well done Paula for walking the dogs and getting all the washing and hoovering done, finally editing the photo's so she can blog and helping one of her downline with her job application - a very productive day in the UK!
Now to the interesting stuff! One of my favourites in the catalogue is the Floral Boutique Suite... have you seen it? All that blue and white is stunning!Well I had to have it all! I've not used everything yet but the Floral Phrases stamp set and Detailed Floral Thinlit Dies come in a bundle - saving a fabulous 10%.
Isn't the die stunning! Look at that! ^
Here I teamed up the stamp - coloured with Stampin' Write Markers and the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper. ^
I was immediately drawn to the blue and white - but am looking forward to trying other combinations.
Here I cut the Night of Navy card stock with the dies.
Well that's it from me for tonight... not least because I have a class to prep for and a cat walking backwards and forwards over the keyboard and in front of the screen driving me nuts!
Have a great week - I'll try and post a bit more - I still have all the home decor bits I displayed at the festival to show you!

Bonus Days - Get your vouchers now!
I've been so busy - I'm afraid I've been focusing on the off line side of the business. In particular preparing for a big event on Saturday! I am having a stand at our town annual festival... so if you're in Princes Risborough - come along the high street and say 'Hi'!
We've had a fabulous new offer announced - for every £45 you spend in July you get £4.50 to spend in August - that's basically 10% of the value of your July order to spend FREE in August!
There are no limits - so you can earn as many as you like... one is emailed for every £45 you spend and you need to keep the code safe as we do not store any personal data so cannot retrieve lost codes for you!
I'm off to catch up on some long neglected paperwork but promise I'll post some crafty stuff soon!
Oh - and here's a gratuitous picture of Blaze with our new addition! If I haven't mentioned her before... she's kind of taking up some time too!

Botanical Blooms Exploding Box Card... Stampin' Up!
Hiya - Me again!
It's such a busy time of year, I have a new full time job and Stampin' Up! is being a little neglected so apologies!
Today I'm sharing the exploding box card I made for my sister for her 40th... I love these cards and am considering doing a class - if there's enough interest... so get in touch if you would like to come along!
I used the retired corresponding papers but there are loads of alternatives! You just match the DSP with the card stock and colours you choose...
And when you lift off the lid... I used Glimmer Paper, Botanical Blooms stamps and the Botanical Builder Framelits.
Fabulous isn't it? I couldn't do it without my Stampin' Up! Trimmer and Simply Scored.
Well - I'll leave you with that for now... I'm home alone for the week as hubby is off working (gallavanting) in Devon... on the seafront...! Apparently he's fitting a bathroom... :-)
Enjoy the rest of the week! xxxx
