Stampin' Up! - It's All White

Well it's another gorgeous, sunny rotten, dark, dreary, wet, miserable Bank Holiday! I somehow acquired a shin splint on Friday so am relying on friends to walk the dog for me.

I did manage to get hubby to give me a lift to the wine bar yesterday afternoon for a little tipple (or 4) but it has meant I'm 'confined to barracks' - and the studio! So I have some awesome creations to share!!!

As promised on Thursday - here are the other 2 white on white cards...

The first using the 2 Way Glue Pen and silver glitter.

There are 4 layers, the top being cut with the heart from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, the next with the Sweetheart Punch and the third, with the heart from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack. All layered on the card base.

The second card made use of all those cut outs.

I'm a little disappointed the Dazzling Details doesn't photograph well - I can assure you these cards are just to die for! I love the 'Congrats' from the Cottage Greetings set.

I would really like a good all round sentiment set in a nice 'swirly' font including ones suitable for Thanks, Birthdays, Weddings, Invitations, Christmas, Good Luck and Congratulations... But not too small... I know there's LOADS in the catalogue so why is it I always want more?

Probably because Stampin' Up! are so good at delivering! I just LOVE the font used for the 'Thankful' hostess set sentiment in the Autumn/Winter seasonal... Speaking of which! You'll have access to it here on-line tomorrow!

Enjoy your Bank Holiday (if you have one today!) xxx

All White Again

Some time ago I designed and blogged a couple of cards that were 'all white'. The new studio has given me loads of inspiration and so I have 3 cards on the same theme.

I'm just posting one tonight - but it is one I absolutely adore, I have a few weddings going on at the moment so this is for one.

It's predominantly white on white with accents of Sahara Sand and some Dazzling Diamonds glitter, I used the Deco Labels framelits and sentiment from the Tin of Cards stamp set.

Butterfly from Bold Butterfly framelits,

The leaves were from the Bird Builder punch, flowers punched using the Fun Flower, Pansy and Petite Petals punches. The stamp sets were Beautiful Bunch, Flower Shop and Petite Petals.

I'll not be around tomorrow as I have a class - though I might get to share this on Facebook!

Have a great Friday... and weekend!

Stampin' Up! Hearth & Home framelits - Sneak Peek.

I've been out in the studio playing with my pre-order items from the new catalogue - I'll add it to my blog on the 1st of September so you can order.

One thing I knew I had to have was the Hearth & Home framelits. I forgot to photograph the card before I sent it so I'm afraid it's a snapshot from the video...

Don't the curtains look super cute? Properly little English Cottage style.

I did a little video tutorial for you... the first one from the studio!

I hope you like it! Speaking of cats... my 3 have decided the studio is the place to be! But 3 cats vying for space on my lap is not conducive to productive crafting! But you have to love them!

Guy Greetings

So! Where have I been?

I have been super busy getting my studio finished. It is awesome! There are some final bits to do, like adding handles, cornices and kick boards, putting in the fridge... you know the sort of thing. But the great news is I am in!

As soon as everything is finished I'll do a video tour. If you would like one? At the moment though my back is protesting at all the lifting I've been doing.

Although I haven't had much of a chance to craft I thought I would share a card with you that I made for my brother in-law's birthday - It was a BIG one!

You have to go gold for a 50th and I used the Confetti Star punch to make the bottom border - and waste not want not... I used the stars at the top. Gorgeous isn't it?

Oooh - Shiny! the die I used for the numbers is unfortunately retired - but the quality of Stampin' Up! products means I can't bear to part with things. (I have a HUGE chest full of retired product in my loft!)

I have 2 dates available for classes in September - the 7th and the 22nd - but only a couple of spaces left in each! I will also be holding a FREE taster session for 8 lucky new customers... so pop back soon for details.

Snow Place - Snow Friends

I know - it's the middle of summer and I'm talking about snow! But we crafters have to start thinking about Christmas early on if we're going to get all those cards ready for posting.

Well the new Stampin' Up! seasonal catalogue will be with you in just a few weeks and if you order from me any time from now - you will get a free copy!

My pre-order arrived yesterday and I only got the chance to play tonight, can you believe that. I'll show you why as you go down the page. But first three of the new products, and we'll be using these in September's classes.

Here I have used the new Snow Friends framelits to cut out the Snow Place stamps - it's a fabulous bundle so put it on your wish list!

And that window is using the Hearth and Home thinlit dies.

Fabulous aren't they! I can't wait to play some more.

And the latest news on the new studio? Lights in, Windows and Doors in... Floor on its way and we should hopefully be in for the September classes! Take the time to comment on the blog and you could be selected to have a free class in the new studio!
