Stampin' Up! - It's All White

Well it's another gorgeous, sunny rotten, dark, dreary, wet, miserable Bank Holiday! I somehow acquired a shin splint on Friday so am relying on friends to walk the dog for me.

I did manage to get hubby to give me a lift to the wine bar yesterday afternoon for a little tipple (or 4) but it has meant I'm 'confined to barracks' - and the studio! So I have some awesome creations to share!!!

As promised on Thursday - here are the other 2 white on white cards...

The first using the 2 Way Glue Pen and silver glitter.

There are 4 layers, the top being cut with the heart from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, the next with the Sweetheart Punch and the third, with the heart from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack. All layered on the card base.

The second card made use of all those cut outs.

I'm a little disappointed the Dazzling Details doesn't photograph well - I can assure you these cards are just to die for! I love the 'Congrats' from the Cottage Greetings set.

I would really like a good all round sentiment set in a nice 'swirly' font including ones suitable for Thanks, Birthdays, Weddings, Invitations, Christmas, Good Luck and Congratulations... But not too small... I know there's LOADS in the catalogue so why is it I always want more?

Probably because Stampin' Up! are so good at delivering! I just LOVE the font used for the 'Thankful' hostess set sentiment in the Autumn/Winter seasonal... Speaking of which! You'll have access to it here on-line tomorrow!

Enjoy your Bank Holiday (if you have one today!) xxx

Challenge #2 Paper Players

Good Morning!

Challenge #2 is actually motivating myself to get the housework done today so I have the whole weekend to help with the studio! It's coming along nicely - in spite of serious setbacks... like the fact the cowboy who started (and never came back to finish) the build left us with a roof not strong enough so we've had to reinforce it! So we had to wait for a steel to be manufactured.

But we've had news the windows and doors will arrive next week so we're looking in track for September! Whoo hoo!!!

Today's challenge is from the Paper Players using this sketch.

This is my take on the sketch and I think I have met the 'brief'.

I used a host of elements from some die sets including the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, Wonderful Wreath Framelits and Lots of Labels Framelits, I also used the Decorative Dots embossing folder and Bird Builder and Petite Petals punches.

The sentiment is from the One Big Meaning set and the ribbon, woven through the holes is 1/4" cotton ribbon.

It's completely different to yesterday's CAS design. What do you think?

Off to start the cleaning now! xxxx

Love and Flowers

Last night I attended Pinkies training with the lovely Michelle Last who is my upline. In November I was in the top ten UK demonstrators for sales in her team. I was so excited and as I have been building a good size team, running regular classes and have lots of lovely regular customers, things are looking great and I am really enjoying being a demo...

But a year ago I was feeling despondent, and in recognition for my progress this year the lovely Michelle presented me with a dozen roses at training. I was so touched! What a lovely and thoughtful gesture... I really am part of the most amazing team so if you would like to join the greatest team on earth (and possibly the biggest in Europe!) please get in touch! mailme@paulaknall.co.uk

The roses are beautiful!

I have been my usual busy self so today I am sharing a selection of cards I was going to show over the last few days but never got round to!

Some Valentines... before it's too late!

For this one I used the Fun Frames embossing folder, Crazy About You bundle and Stacked With Love DSP.

For the next one I chose a simple but effective design.

I used my Sweetheart punch and then cut out the larger heart using the framelit from in the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit set - What do you think?

Here are my beautiful roses - Thank you Michelle! You can buy all the Stampin' Up! products via my shop or using the links below and they will be delivered straight to your door... you can even remain anonymous... but then I can't send you a Thank You card!
