Sunshine...

Is something we've really been lacking recently, so I was so happy it shone just a little today.

I hope you enjoyed our Blog Hop - it's always great fun and we don't actually get to see each others posts until the day either! So we have a lovely surprise too!

Tonight's little something is in celebration of the sunshine and praying we don't get too much more rain!

It is also my entry for the Less is More Single layer challenge.

It's hard to believe it's just one layer isn't it? But I promise it is... I used a mask and sponged each 'ray' working from right to left each time to get the change in colour density.

So effective isn't it?

Hope you had a good weekend and are feeling ready for the new week! I may not get a chance to post every day as I'm mad busy this week - but I hope to bring you a couple of things.

Don't forget you can order from me any time by e-mailing/calling/messaging on FB... carrier pigeon!

And for every £45 you spend you get to choose a FREE Sale-a-bration item. Or you could join my team!

  3. Yes, it is hard to believe that is one layer - it must have been a lot of work to sponge those rays one by one - but worth the effort. A very dramatic card! Heatwaves and bushfires here in Oz, so we have the sunshine you're hoping for, but there's often a downside even to good things!

  6. How did you make the lines in-between the rays to set them apart? It's beautiful!

    1. Hi Kathy, You always start the sponging from the side where the card mask is so there is more colour concentrated there... then gradually move out so there is a colour gradient... hope that helps xxx
